Use it for herding mobs...drop pressure to cause a group of enemies to fall to the RuneScape Gold ground, jump to the opposite site and use cut-down on those still standing followed by hammer crush and then finish off with broom jab ->crosscut or shoulder tackle->storm blade.
Cockroach life is awesome if you do get the chance to use it...but you prolix will never do and the whole % thing is broken.
To sum it up your essential skills (the ones in your hotkey) should look like this. Also regarding the def tree of knight skills, knight eq and vit growth is already massive and should suffice for surviving for a long time so raise this at your leisure.

Do note that this skill is % based so when it comes down to pvp where hp is 4x (?) this skill easily outshines the stupid bottle skill.
